The focus of my work is to provide a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment for health and fitness promotion for all ages, fitness levels, and goals desired.
While Diane specializes in working with the older adult population and in rehabilitation, her client base ranges from ages 17 to 91.

Whether your interest is traditional Pilates, a fitness program to prepare for a hike in Italy, or exercisesto strengthen your back, Diane will design a program to meet your needs.
Her background as a dancer and fitness trainer, in addition to her extensive knowledge of anatomy, bodywork, and biomechanics, informs her work.
Diane blends traditional fitness principles with Pilates and other movement modalities to create a personalized workout for each individual.
All clients, if desired, will receive a personalized exercise plan to do at home.

Stretch and Strengthen is suitable for older adults, and for those looking to begin an exercise program, or recovering from injury. Classes are held at Danspace in Oakland on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 2:30pm. Participants need to bring a mat and a towel.
ABC’s, a Pilates based workout

ABC’s combines Pilates mat work, standing core work, balance exercises and stretching. This 55 minute workout will strengthen the core (abs, back, and hips) through multi- dimensional movements done in standing, sitting, and on the mat. Props and body weight are used to create a fun and challenging workout. The class is multi level and participants can work at their own pace.
